I had a large amount of problems with the management of this complex especially during move in and move out. About a month or two before moving in I received a call from the complex saying they wouldn't be providing me furniture despite me signing for the furniture package. After having multiple emails ignored and phone calls not answered during their operating hours, I was finally able to get them to start talking to me after I sent an email saying I would use the arbitration clause in the lease agreement due to their breach of contract. I ended up getting my furniture but after moving in they hadn't connected our wifi and said that if we did it ourselves we would be fined $200. Me and my roommates ended up having to wait about 2-3 weeks before it was installed. Our AC was broken for months and it took about 5-6 maintenance requests to get it fixed. Now, after moving out I get sent a bill for a couple hundred dollars for repairs they allegedly made in my room. I asked my old roommate who still lives in our same unit and he said that nobody ever came in to make the repairs. So yet again I tried to contact them via phone calls, emails, and their own residential messaging system none of which they responded to. After not paying the bill for the damages that didn't exist they sent out an email threatening to send debt collectors to get the money, to which I responded asking questions and of course I got no response from them. I hope they see this review and decide to get back to me, but I will likely have to go to small claims court to get the money back that they wrongfully charged me.
Don't live here. I tried speaking to management on five separate occasions. Left voice messages and was told each time I called that they were unavailable. No AC for three weeks than overcharged when moving out. Still charged full rent for the month with no AC. The amenities are cool but the gym sucks. I would avoid it and listen to the other bad reviews unless you just wanna throw money away.
I highly recommend finding a different place to live. Redpoint is extremely overpriced for the quality of living provided. I am disgusted by my experience. The carpets are old, matted and always look dirty. The unit was not clean when I first moved in and the drain in the tub was clogged. The gate is open the majority of the time so anyone can enter the complex. In May, there was a shooting incident and, coincidentally, the gate was fixed the same day (and then broke again the next day). I have never seen one of their so-called “security guards” that apparently patrol the complex. A lot of people around the neighborhood don’t pick up after their dogs. Management will not answer your emails and barely picks up the phone when you call. The “security system” in our house was just hung up on the wall and wasn’t actually set up. The back porches are made of untreated wood that will eventually rot and fall apart. Maintenance will spray around the house for ants and they always come back. In the winter, you will only get about 10 minutes of warm water to shower, after that it is ice cold. There was mold growing on our ceilings at one point. There were wasps building a nest in the frame of my window and nothing was done about it, even after explaining my extreme allergy to them. This is all before the heinous cleaning/move-out fees they charge since the place was gross when I got there. Just an overall bad experience, especially considering the price I paid for rent/utilities and it keeps going up every year.
Got charged an outrageous amount of money for repairs and when I call to pay, nobody answers. First they matched my daughter with a roommate from hell that had previous complaints about but just let her stay there and treat everyone like they are living at her house. Did not care switch her to a more pleasant roommate. $250 to paint room, $250 to paint bathroom and $250 to change carpet is a very steep amount of money to pay. Gate never worked properly. When requested a letter to be able to rent a place somewhere else, never gave letter so lost place where we were applying. And they close office way before 6pm
Nice amenities but are all but open to the public, poor security as the gate hangs open half the year, about once every couple months there will be a party that fills the entire complex such that it can take hours to get out. Gunshots about once-twice a month. Management was completely absent for the better part of a year and will pile charges on when you leave. Really nice apartments but couldn't reccommed.
I would not recommend moving to this place. They will literally make up fees to charge you. Don't believe me? Just wait until you move out. My roommates and I were charged ridiculous prices for cheap furniture that started to wear and tear as soon as we moved in. We were charged for "damaged items" that were our own personal items. We were also charged for carpet damages that already had stains since we moved in. Not to mention they will give you the run around about how they plan on fixing/adjusting charges until you have no choice but to pay.
Although the apartment space itself was great, the issues I’ve had with management and maintenance have tainted my outlook on Redpoint. Our AC was constantly breaking, our Wifi frequently went off in the middle of the day, we had a terrible …
I wouldn’t recommend this apartment complex because the gate was always open so that brought security issues. There were pool parties that would leave residents with no parking so residents wouldn’t be able to get into their house. …
